The full Kozio solution is a suite of software tools for design validation and board bring-up, binary image downloading, in-system programming, automated board testing, and in-field power-on self-test. kDiagnostics Design Suite is positioned for design and development engineers wishing to ensure their board designs fully and correctly meet specification, and delivers high test throughput and superior levels of coverage, along with a user-interface targeted to the tasks required for board validation.

Accelerate board bring-up

From a schematic or hardware description, Kozio personalizes the test methods and suites to a unique target board, delivering a standalone executable containing boot manager, diagnostics application, real-time test executive, database of test methods, scripting language and interactive interpreter. Users connect a host computer to the target platform, download the kDiagnostics executable, and within minutes have a full diagnostic report giving board status, device by device.

Isolate errors

Users can execute the full system test suite, or select an individual test for fault isolation. Test status is provided interactively, and displayed for each test method and suite. Using the interactive interpreter and scripting language built into kDiagnostics, the comprehensive test method library provided can be modified, or (with the addition of the Design Suite Pro option) customized test primitives can be added, and new, user-customized versions of kDiagnostics compiled.
