Extend your design's high-integrity diagnostic tests to end-of-line manufacturing testing

For designers of 32-bit embedded systems who must deliver high quality quickly and at low cost, Kozio's kDiagnostics is a comprehensive, configurable, and cost-effective hardware validation suite that provides an extensible and reusable turn-key. The SequenceRunner option extends the comprehensive In-system Diagnostics that you used for board validation into manufacturing test. SequenceRunner provides a highly-productive test automation capability, used to create, control and distribute test sequences for manufacturing test of embedded systems; SequenceRunner also tracks test sequence execution and status.

The full Kozio solution is a suite of software tools for design validation and board bring-up, binary image downloading, in-system programming, automated board testing, and in-field power-on self-test. Kozio's kDiagnostics Design Suite is positioned for design and development engineers wishing to ensure their board designs fully and correctly meet specification, and delivers high test throughput and superior levels of coverage, along with a user-interface targeted to the tasks required for board validation.

Ease migration to manufacturing

Using SequenceRunner, manufacturing can deploy the same high-integrity test and diagnostics processes previously used by design engineering to fully validate the functional behavior of their hardware platform. Each and every board consistently achieves the same high standards of quality.

Simple user-interface hides complexity

A simple graphical user interface enables operator productivity. Test sequences can be started by scanning a board bar code or clicking an on-screen start button, launching TFTP loading, device serialization or programming, and fully-automated testing. A simple pass/fail indicator and test summary report determines operator action on test completion.

A validated and approved process, defined in a simple XML file, can be transferred to contract manufacturers for consistent testing across manufacturers and facilities. SequenceRunner captures every test action and target response, making them available for subsequent snapshot status and reporting through the SequenceReporter™ option.

Salvage your bone-pile failures

Without Kozio, bone piles (undiagnosed board failures that need investigation and rework) grow. kDiagnostics, SequenceRunner and ValidationAssistant™ give manufacturing the tools they need to carry out diagnosis and repair, delivering additional units for commissioning and shipment, while tracking each step along the way.

Flexible installation options

SequenceRunner can be hosted on a single test station (communicating with multiple fixtures and targets), or on multiple independent network-connected test stations, each of which communicates with kDiagnostics running on the target hardware. This flexibility supports multiple production lines, multiple operators per line, and multiple fixtures per station.
